Alexa Ehrlich is serving her fourth year on the YLD Board. After graduating from Indiana University in 2010, she re-located to Chicago. Since living in Chicago, she has attended numerous YLD events, volunteered at the Uptown Café, participated in LEADS, Mensches in Motion and Gesher. Alexa also serves on the Center for Jewish Genetics Associate Board and she participated in the ADL Glass Leadership Program to increase her involvement in the Chicago Jewish community.
Her strong philanthropic influence is derived from her family, who always stressed the importance of giving back. Alexa is excited to currently be training to run in the 2016 Chicago Marathon as chair of TeamJUF! Alexa will be graduating from Adler University in October of 2016 with her Masters in Couple and Family Therapy. In her free time, Alexa enjoys hanging out with family and friends, taking yoga sculpt classes at Corepower, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
