Elizabeth Kramer , M.S.W., L.C.S.W., is serving her first year on the YLD Board. She is a school social worker, practicing in Northbrook, Illinois. She received her Bachelors of Science in 2007 from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. Elizabeth achieved her Masters of Social Work from Jane Addams College of Social Work in 2009 and has been Board Certified since 2012. After 7 years of experience in the schools, she expanded her practice in 2015 as an in-home behavioral therapist and continues to grow her private practice. Up until the summer of 2016, Elizabeth's only involvement in JUF was attending the Big Event. With the encouragement of a friend, Elizabeth participated in the 2016 NYL Mission to Israel. Unaware of where the annual campaign dollars went, Elizabeth was profoundly moved when she saw the programming first-hand and has been changed ever since. She made it her priority to get involved upon her return, so she could inform others on what JUF can truly do for vulnerable populations. Elizabeth has since led the BGS Mission to Cuba, participated in Gesher, and is a regular attendee to YLD events.
