Hillels Around Chicago

Breaking BreadHillels Around Chicago is the Jewish home-away-from-home for students from seven campuses in the Chicago area: Columbia College Chicago, DePaul University, Illinois Institute of Technology, Northeastern Illinois University, Oakton Community College, Roosevelt University and the School of the Art Institute. Hillels Around Chicago also provides two cross-campus programs: Russian Hillel, which offers specialized programming for Russian-speakers, and Hillel Arts in the Loop, which offers students opportunities for personal connection to Jewish tradition through the arts and culture.

Our programs reinforce Jewish expression and identity by pursuing tzedek (social justice) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), encouraging Jewish learning and celebration, supporting Israel and global Jewish peoplehood, and committing to excellence and innovation. We are building community for students to connect to other Jews and to forge ties that last a lifetime.
