Gifts is a partnership of Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, Grandparents for Social Action, and InterfaithFamily/Chicago

Gratitude, Inspiration, Family, Tzedakah and Service are timeless Jewish values that each generation is obligated to pass along to the next. GIFTS is a multi-faceted program designed to provide grandparents with the essential knowledge, skills and tools they need to share these values with their grandchildren. GIFTS is for Jewish grandparents of grandchildren of all ages, abilities, and faiths.

The GIFTS program was created by a partnership between Grandparents for Social Action, InterfaithFamily/Chicago, and Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.

GIFTS classes are offered at a variety of congregations, schools, and JCCs across the community. These classes allow grandparents to learn skills, discuss important issues, and build networks with their peers.

The GIFTS website provides links to educational resources, blog posts, and stories of grandparents and grandchildren.
