Early Childhood Directors’ Council consultation and seminars designed to aid the 21 affiliated early childhood directors in programming for their institutions as well as fielding requests for teacher and principal placement, and working with schools to fill vacant positions. Holds an annual Directors’ Conference in conjunction with the JCC and ATT attended by 400 early childhood directors and teachers. Has a Jewish Accreditation Program, building the quality of Jewish teaching and learning in Jewish early childhood programs in concert with standards developed by the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Offers technical assistance and consultation services to individual schools to address issues of particular importance and need. |
