BeTween helps Jewish girls in grades 3 through 8, strengthen and support their bodies, minds, and spirits through fun programs with other Jewish girls. The adults in their lives -- parents, teachers, coaches -- access information and resources to help girls navigate the turbulent pre-teen years with confidence and understanding about their bodies, relationships, and roles in their communities. Chavayah is the newest girls' orthodox overnight camp in the Midwest for fifth-11th grade campers. Located at the Perlstein Resort and Conference Center in Lake Delton, WI. An annual, international Olympic-style sporting event held each summer in select cities for Jewish teens, 13-16 years of age. Competition includes basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, flag football, volleyball, track and field, swimming, tennis, golf, ice hockey and more. The largest organized sports program for Jewish teenagers in the world, the Games provide 6,000 Jewish youth with an unparalleled athletic and cultural experience and strengthens Jewish identity. JCC offers a wide variety of sports programming at JCC locations across Metropolitan Chicago. All programs provide an opportunity to learn new skills and progress in development through instruction, practice, and individual or team play. Children will learn a love for sports and find new challenges in a variety of classes and leagues within an appropriately competitive atmosphere. Features leagues for basketball, soccer, floor hockey and flag football. Staff is trained to enhance self esteem, teach skills and bring Jewish values to life both on and off the field/court. JCC also excels at group and individual swim instruction with our exclusive Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy. Offers instruction at all swim levels as well as lifeguard training. Located on a private and beautiful, wooded 10-acre site, the camp features an air-conditioned cultural arts building, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, softball, soccer and kickball fields, boating pond, challenge course, climbing wall, miniature golf and a Ga-ga pit. Twice-daily swimming including American Red Cross instructional swim in our two heated outdoor pools. Nineteen specialty activities are offered of all interests. An eight-week day camp experience uniquely designed for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Specially trained counselors help ease the transition from home to camp for preschoolers. Campers enjoy the quality, tradition and spirit of our larger JCC camps, but in a smaller camp setting and community. The camp features instructional swim in our indoor pool (some programs available without swimming), air-conditioned gymnasium, art and activity rooms, manicured grounds and sports fields, playground and outdoor tents for shade. Hebrew Immersion program also available.

A premier, American Camp Association accredited day camp for children 3 years to entering seventh grade. Situated on 37 acres of open land and nature areas. Featuring two heated pools for instructional swim and free swim, climbing wall, adventure course with zip line and high ropes, multi-purpose athletic courts, manicured sports fields and a 20,000-square-foot, air-conditioned cultural arts pavilion. The camp offers 19 specialty activities for all interests. The camp is also home to the Garoon Gateway to Science, the region's only state-of-the-art, outdoor science learning center. Four- and eight-week sessions are available with optional bus transportation to designated areas. Day camp/overnight camp combinations with Camp Chi are also available.

Introduction to Judaism

An 18-week program designed for individuals and couples from Jewish and various other faith backgrounds who want to explore Jewish holidays and life cycle ceremonies, Jewish values, symbols and traditions, and Jewish liturgy and texts. Introduction to Judaism is ideal for those who are part of a Jewish family, are considering conversion, or simply want to gain a deeper understanding of Jewish life. Co-sponsored by the Union for Reform Judaism and the Chicago Association of Reform Rabbis. Classes are offered at several locations around Chicago and the suburbs in the fall, winter and spring.

A Taste of Judaism

Curious about Judaism? A Taste of Judaism is designed for those who are curious about Judaism. These free three weekly sessions focus on the modern Jewish take on spirituality, values, and community. Sessions are dynamic and interactive; the teachers are engaging and accessible and are open to all of your questions and concerns. Whether you are simply curious about Judaism or are looking to take your next steps on your Jewish journey you have come to the right place! All are welcome.
