    A donor advised fund is a charitable giving account offered by the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago that helps donors manage their charitable donations. The fund is managed by the Federation in the donor's name, and established with a minimum contribution of $1,000. By opening a Donor Advised Fund at the Jewish Federation donors are able to recommend grants to multiple charities, Jewish or secular; set up their fund to pay their synagogue dues yearly; better organize their philanthropy; call on Jewish Federation staff for philanthropic expertise; and take advantage of the highest possible tax deduction.

What's New in the Guide

Moishe House RSJ

Moishe House is a network of peer-based Jewish communities for young adults aged 22-30. Each house is comprised of three to five residents who host five to seven programs per month, covering a wide variety of topics and activities. Chicago is home to four Moishe Houses.
