Delivers relevant career services to Hillel students in Metro Chicago. Workshops cover effective resume writing, interview skills, and networking opportunities to help them launch successful careers. Joint program of Hillel and JVS.

UpStart

UpStart exists to redesign the way Jewish life gets experienced. UpStart Lab: Chicago provides education and training to a highly select group of Jewish social entrepreneurs who are bringing new methodologies and a fresh approach to how to “do Jewish”. Selected UpStarters participate in a non-profit version of the high-tech accelerator designed to give Jewish ventures the “know how” to move from proof-of-concept to sustainable organizations. UpStart also runs a Community of Practice for lay/professional Jewish leaders, and provides innovation support for Chicago's mature Jewish organizations. UpStart Lab: Chicago is a program of UpStart, a national organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
