AUDIO: A place of ghosts
A lifelong desire came true yesterday for me in Turkey. Ever since
falling in love with Turkish music some 40 years ago I've wanted to
travel across the vast Anatolian plateau, a landscape that reminds me of
Eastern New Mexico, and let my mind wander to the chiseled rhythms and
