Hankus Netsky is one of the most renowned figures in klezmer music. He is the founder of the Klezmer Conservatory Band, which has accompanied everyone from Itzhak Perlman to Robin Williams. A klezmer scholar as well, he has taught this music on the college level and has written widely on the subject.
