A place of ghosts

A lifelong desire came true yesterday for me in Turkey. Ever since falling in love with Turkish music some 40 years ago I've wanted to travel across the vast Anatolian plateau, a landscape that reminds me of Eastern New Mexico, and let my mind wander to the chiseled rhythms and crisp, descending scales of Anatolian folk music.  Listen to JUF News Executive Editor Aaron Cohen as he reports from an interfaith mission in Turkey
