The Ideas Cafe is a unique, exciting and stimulating adventure in adult Jewish learning at Congregation Beth Shalom in Northbrook. Each month, a "big thinker" from Chicago's Jewish community engages in lively discussion with journalist Carl Schrag, and audience members pose their own questions.
In January, Rabbi Asher Lopatin, spiritual leader of Anshe Sholom B’nai Israel Congregation, was the guest in a program entitled "The Power of Pluralism – In American Judaism, in Israel and Across the Israel-Diaspora Divide"
The Ideas Cafe is open to the entire community. For more information, including upcoming guests and topics, please contact Leann Blue, Director of Jewish Life and Learning, at LBlue@BethShalomNB.org
