PJ on the Town is a series of 7 amazing programs designed to bring together Chicago-area families at family-friendly destinations to celebrate Jewish life and create Jewish experiences. Each program is co-sponsored by a partner institution to encourage families to connect with one another and with the rich Jewish educational offerings in Chicago.

Hands on Heroes

Hands on Heroes is a program that offers families with young children the opportunity to do mitzvot (good deeds) together. Volunteer opportunities are geared towards families with children ages 8 and under. New, age-appropriate projects will be offered each month.

JUF Book Buddies Program

JUF Book Buddies

JUF Book Buddies is an exciting program in the northwest suburbs for young families with children up to 5 years old. One Sunday a month, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, Book Buddies participants gather to learn about Jewish holidays, meet new friends and spend meaningful time with their families at the Barnes & Noble in Vernon Hills. All our welcome and there is no cost to attend, but preregistration is recommended.
