About JUF Joyfully Jewish Programs for Families with Young Children
JUF's Joyfully Jewish programs offer many exciting opportunities for families with young children to explore and cultivate Jewish life. From welcoming a newborn, to providing free Jewish books and music, to gift vouchers that help supplement Jewish early education, Joyfully Jewish programs help families experience and celebrate the joys of Jewish life, community and learning. If you're a parent, grandparent or have young children in your life- Joyfully Jewish is the place for you.
What's Happening
JUF Book Buddies . . . a Joyfully Jewish Event!
JUF Book Buddies makes learning about the Jewish Holidays fun! Join other young families at three area locations on one Sunday every month for creative holiday-themed art projects, sing-alongs and story reading. Events are appropriate for children ages 0-5 years. There is no cost to attend the programs, but registration is requested. Sign up here!

PJ Library Goes Green!Join JUF Joyfully Jewish, PJ Library, Solomon Schechter Day School and Keshet for a Tot Concert featuring Rick Recht: Jewish rock artist and environmental activist. Participate in these environmentally-friendly activities: Composting with the Urban Worm Girl • Collages with repurposed materials • Planting microgreens • Building with cereal boxes • Cozy reading corner • Create your own windmill. Perfect for kids ages 2-5 and their favorite adults! Children with special needs welcome and encouraged to attend. Date/Time: Sunday, February 5, 9:30am - 11:30am PJ Library Goes Green is a Lila Tov Initiative, sponsored by the family and friends of Lila Weinzweig, a lifelong Jewish educator beloved by generations of children. Come dressed in your PJs and join us for fun, family-friendly activities and arts & crafts featuring some of your favorite PJ Library books. Bedtime snacks included. Best for children under age 5.
