Jason is a commercial banking officer at First Midwest Bank in Deerfield. Caroline is a clinical dietitian at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Boaz Wolfe Pickus was born on Oct. 13, 2012, in Jerusalem to Abigail Pickus. Pickus, one of founders of the Nextbook series of Jewish books, is a former editor of JUF News and Moment Magazine. She now writes about the worlds of Jewish literature, arts, and life for The Jewish Week. Her work has appeared in The Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, and many Jewish and other publications.
