Not everyone has access to the tuition needed for higher education. That is why, for over 50 years, JVS has been helping Jewish students realize their dreams of going to college.
Educational scholarship funds from grants administered by the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago are available for Jewish college and graduate students. Approximately $500,000 is available each year for full-time students, predominantly those legally domiciled in the metropolitan Chicago area, who are identified as having promise for significant contributions in their chosen careers. Assistance is available primarily for those with financial need who are pursuing careers in the helping professions.
Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) processes academic scholarship applications from eligible students who have financial needs that cannot fully be met by other appropriate resources. Complete the correct forms according to your status.
Application Deadline: Feb. 15
Your application will not be considered unless ALL documentation is received by Feb. 15, 2013 with the exclusion of 2012 tax returns. For more information, call (312) 673-3444 or e-mailjvsscholarship@jvschicago.org.
