Rabbi Mordecai Simon, longtime head of Chicago Board of Rabbis, TV host, devoted friend and counselor

Rabbi Mordecai Simon, whose long and distinguished rabbinic career was devoted to the Jewish community and who served as executive director of the Chicago Board of Rabbis for 32 years, died on Wednesday, May 16 at his home in Highland Park. He was 81.
