Jewish tradition elevates deeds of loving kindness (chesed) to the highest possible ranking among soul-traits. The Talmud teaches that chesed is so essential to life that it is one of the three pillars upon which the world exists. What is chesed and why is it so critical for this value to permeate our daily lives? How can practicing chesed transform one’s entire perspective on life? What attitude should one develop toward practicing chesed? We will meet at chicago chesed warehouse for a chesed project and to answer questions above.
