TOV MTV – Monthly Hands-On Teen Volunteering
Every month, TOV MTV gives Jewish teens a chance to make the world a little better. Whether you want to help the environment, brighten a senior’s day, fight hunger and poverty, or lend a hand to people with disabilities, there’s an opportunity waiting for you.
Who can attend?
MTV is for Chicago-area Jewish teens in Grades 6-12.
What do they do?
Spend a couple of hours a month making a difference in the lives of others and in their community. You can do it once, twice, or every month.
Why do they do it?
For the:
- Fun of meeting and working with other teens.
- Personal connection to real-world problems not far from home.
- Volunteer hours for school.
- Connection to the Jewish community.
- Sense of achievement.
- Feel-good feeling that comes from helping others.
How Do I Sign Up?
- Pick a project that works for you.
- Sign up online or call 312-444-2867. Have your contact info and project dates handy.
- Turn in any permission slips and the photo release forms.
- Show up.
- HAVE FUN!
