Looking for a few good face painters

Looking for a quick summer mitzvah opportunity? Join JUF as face painters at our Sunday, August 16th TOT HOP – a concert for kids 6 and under. We are looking for five teens (in each location) to help us as face painters. We would need you from either 9:30 – 11:00 am in the city (1535 W. Dayton) or 3:30 – 5 pm in Vernon Hills (635 N. Aspen Drive). No prior experience necessary but must like young kids and be willing to have fun! Please contact Debbi Cooper at 312-357-4844 or deborahcooper@juf.org by Friday, July 24th, for more information or to confirm your spot.

YOU Can Make a Difference

What would you do with $25,000? What kind of difference would you make? VOICES and KOLOT are hands-on youth philanthropy programs that give teens the opportunity to allocate at least $25,000 to important causes and make an impact on the world today. These programs invite you to combine tzedakah and tikkun olam in an exciting new way. Visit Voices and Kolot to learn more. For more information and applications, email voices@juf.org or kolot@juf.org.

Congratulations! Local Teens win JVibe Award

Congratulations to winners Spencer Tweedy of Chicago and Ethan Barhydt of Deerfield on their 18 Under 18 JVibe award. The award honors 18 teens under the age of 18 who have made extraordinary accomplishments in their communities. The teens must stand out in class, on the field, in the Jewish community and in the philanthropic world and who are an inspiration to other teens.
