Israel Solidarity Day
Every year since 1971, Chicago Jews have demonstrated their bond with the Jewish state through the Walk With Israel and other Israel Solidarity Day activities. The events are sponsored by the Jewish United Fund and supported by dozens of Jewish organizations throughout the area. This year, join thousands of people as they celebrate Israel's 60th birthday and raise money to help support Israel and the Jewish people.
Volunteer at Israel Solidarity Day
Israel Solidarity Day is an annual, community-wide event. JUF relies on hundreds of volunteers in order to help the event succeed. Volunteers are needed to register participants, distribute flags, greet and cheer walkers, serve food and chair activities. All ISD volunteers will receive a complimentary TOV t-shirt and meal voucher.
