Israel Solidarity Day
Volunteer at Israel Solidarity Day
Israel Solidarity Day is an annual, community-wide event. JUF relies on hundreds of volunteers in order to help the event succeed. Volunteers are needed to register participants, distribute flags, lead rallies, serve food and chair activities. All ISD volunteers will receive a complimentary TOV t-shirt.
Save the dates for the Jewish United Fund’s 2011 Israel Solidarity Day, a celebration marking Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day.
Sunday, May 22, 2011 (also Lag B'omer) in Skokie/Lincolnwood/Rogers Park/Peterson Park
Sunday, June 5, 2011 in the City, Northern Suburbs, Northwest Suburbs, Southern Suburbs, Near Western Suburbs & Western Suburbs
This community-wide, family friendly event features the Walk with Israel (a three-mile walkathon to raise funds for Israel), plus food and festivities for all ages. Israel Solidarity Day brings together Jews from across the Chicago area to stand with their community and support their Jewish homeland.
