Mitzvah Calendars

 

Mitzvah ManiaMitzvah Manias are seasonal lists of one-time volunteer opportunities. Sign up and commit to one project at a time. There is no long term obligation. Mitzvah Manias take place in fall, winter and spring, offer many holiday related projects, and are the perfect opportunity for individuals, families, groups and teens to perform the mitzvah of tikkun olam in the greater Chicagoland area.

Fall Mitzvah Mania

Fall Mitzvah Mania, a calendar of one-time volunteer opportunities, offers projects through the High Holiday season.  In 2010, over 80 volunteers participated in 28 projects!

Merry Mitzvot

Merry Mitzvot, a calendar of one-time volunteer opportunities, offers projects from Thanksgiving through the beginning of the New Year. 

Spring Mitzvah Mania

Spring Mitzvah Mania, a calendar of one-time volunteer opportunities, takes place during the weeks surrounding Passover, Easter, Yom Hashoah, Earth Day, Mother's Day and Yom Ha'atzmaut.

Green Mitzvah Mania

In an effort to explore new areas of volunteerism and to uphold the Jewish values of environmentalism and tikkun olam, the JUF TOV Volunteer Network runs Green Mitzvah Mania, a summer calendar of eco-friendly one-time volunteer opportunities.
