Jonah Bobo

Jonah Bobo

Jonah's now in two hit shows. One, 30 Rock, is about making a TV show, and the other, Royal Pains, is about a doctor who works for a fancy resort.

Jonah zoomed to stardom as Danny, the little brother in Zathura (the follow-up to Jumanji, both about boardgames that come to life).

By the time Jonah was nine years old, he'd already has played everything from a red fox to a purple kangaroo! The fox is his voice role in a brand-new sequel to the Disney classic The Fox and the Hound, and he plays a kangaroo on the Nickolodeon show The Backyardigans (Adam Pascal did a song on that show, too!)

On a more serious note, Jonah was also in some tough family dramas. In Around the Bend, he works with superstars Michael Caine and Christopher Walken, who play a father and son who reunite to uncover a family secret. In The Best Thief in the World, he plays the brother of a troubled kid who starts breaking and entering. He's also in the weird movie Strangers with Candy, about a 40-year-old woman who goes back to finish high school.

Bonus:

Chris Van Allsburg, who wrote the books the two magic-boardgame movies were based on (he also wrote Polar Express), is Jewish! John Favreau, who directed Zathura, is Jewish too.
