Hebrew in the Public High Schools

Rega

Regah! That’s Hebrew for “Just a minute!” We’d like to take a “regah” to talk to you about… Hebrew!

Even after your bar or bat mitzvah, you can use Hebrew to visit Israel, appreciate the Torah, and understand everything from prayers to camp songs. Oh, and you can also use it to get high school language credits at some Chicago-area public high schools! Yofi! (That’s Hebrew for “cool!”) Yes, if you are planning on attending:

  • Deerfield
  • Evanston Township
  • Glenbrook North or South
  • Highland Park
  • New Trier
  • Niles North or West
  • Stevenson

You can get foreign-language credit for learning Hebrew. Soon, your Hebrew skills will be olami! (“world-famous”). So take a “minute for Hebrew” to find more about Regah Shel Ivrit www.regashelivrit.com! Sababa! (”Awesome!”)
