Support Supplies for Success

Just like Chicago, there are families in Israel struggling with rough economic times, including 2,000 children living in the Sderot and Shaar HaNegev region. Despite hard work to make ends meet, these Israeli families cannot afford basic necessities—including their children’s school supplies. In addition, these communities are still suffering from the trauma of many years of being subject to terrorist rocket fire. This year, all dollars raised through Israel Solidarity Day will be used to equip these students for a successful 2011 school year.
