YLD Board Member Bio
Michael Oxman is serving his third year on the YLD Board and is the YLD Board President. Originally from the North Shore suburbs of Milwaukee, Michael remained in Chicago after graduating from Northwestern University in 2006, with degrees in Economics and Political Science. Michael is an Associate Vice President at a large financial services firm. Michael is an Alpha Epsilon Pi brother, and continues to be involved with the fraternity. Today he is a Regional Governor, overseeing undergraduate chapters throughout the Midwest. In addition, Michael helped create the Alpha Epsilon Pi Chicago Alumni Club. During his first year on the YLD Board, Michael helped spearhead the creation of the LGBTQ group within YLD. He looks forward to further building the YLD's LGBTQ group and expanding the participation of all Jews within YLD/JUF. Outside of YLD, Michael serves on the Professional Advisory Committee for the JUF. Michael was honored to be one of Oy!Chicago's first ever "36 Under 36" honorees in 2012. With a passion for connecting people and engaging them within the Jewish Community, Michael is excited to continue serving on the YLD Board.
