YLD Board Member Bio

Marissa Teplitsky is serving in her third year on the YLD Board. Marissa is originally from Chicago, Illinois. Her undergraduate degree was in retail management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and she received a Master's in Education from New York University. Currently, Marissa teaches 3rd grade. Marissa has held a number of roles in the YLD community including LEADS member and Gesher member. She is involved with YLD because of her passion for giving back to the community, her desire to strengthen the young Jewish community in Chicago and her commitment to developing a tighter network of young Jewish business leaders in Chicago. In her spare time, Marissa is passionate about photography, movies and walking around the "Windy City."
