YLD Board Member Bio

Scott Lieber is serving in his third year on the YLD Board and is the 2013 Campaign Vice-Chair. Scott grew up in Hinsdale, IL. His undergraduate degrees were in Sport Management and Finance from Ithaca College in upstate New York. Scott played on the football team while in college and lettered three times. Currently, Scott works for an insurance brokerage firm, Associated Agencies, which specializes in commercial insurance, personal insurance and employee benefits. He has held a number of roles in the YLD community including LEADS member, LEADS Summer Co-Chair, LEADS Executive Member, ISD Walk Captain, Tribefest Co-Chair and YLD Volunteer, as well as attending many YLD events. He is involved with YLD because he wants to help strengthen the young Jewish identity in Chicago and give back to the Jewish community in Chicago and Israel. Scott enjoys many extracurricular activities such as flag football, softball, golf and fly-fishing. He also serves as President for the Associate Board of BUILD, which helps at risk youth in the Chicagoland area.
