YLD Board Member Bio

Rob Simon is serving in his second year on the YLD Board. He is originally from Morton Grove, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois where he studied Psychology and Music. Rob currently works as an Executive Account Manager for a technology company. In addition, he also sings and plays piano for weddings and private parties.

He has held a number of roles in the YLD community including LEADS member, LEADS leader and Gesher member. He participated in the Mission to Israel in 2010. Rob is involved with YLD because he wants to help develop the young Jewish community in Chicago. In his spare time, Rob enjoys all things music and sports, playing cards, and pop culture.
