YLD Board Member Bio

Dan Goodman is serving in his second year on the YLD board. Dan grew up in Highland Park, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He is currently the Director of Development for Mercadito Hospitality. Since returning to Chicago almost 2 years ago, Dan has taken part in LEADS, Gesher, the YLD trip to Denver, Tribefest and most recently the YLD Summer Trip to Israel; he is also on the Partnership 2000 Committee. Dan finds enjoyment in his involvement with the Jewish community and is following strong role models in his family.

In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with family and friends. Often he is trying to get people to join him in trying new restaurants, both the hot concepts and holes-in-the-walls throughout the city.
