YLD Board Member Bio
![]() | Stacy Saltzman is serving in her fourth year on the YLD Board. Stacy is from St. Louis, still roots for the Cardinals and is a graduate of Indiana University where she majored in Broadcasting and Telecommunications. After living in Los Angeles for five years, Stacy moved back to Chicago and became more involved within the Jewish community after monthly volunteering at the Uptown Café and joining LEADS. Stacy participated in the 2008 Gesher program and joined the YLD Board shortly after. Stacy is an event planner and runs her own company So Stacy, coordinating weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, corporate parties and even baby namings and bris receptions. Stacy has served on the YLD Board communications and volunteer committees and was a co-manager for Israel Solidarity Day, worked on the logistics for the Big Event with Jimmy Fallon and served as a volunteer co-chair working on Volunteer Day, Mitzvah Mania and IsraFest 2012. When Stacy is not working on her events and participating in YLD activities, she enjoys spending time with her friends and traveling to see her family. Stacy has a passion for dancing, seeing movies, going on Chicago food and site tours, trying new restaurants and ordering dessert first wherever she goes. |
