Members of the Young Leadership Division (YLD) help coordinate volunteer activities, parties and networking events. YLD Summer Mission to Israel: June 29 – July 8, 2008Save the date for the YLD Summer Mission to Israel from June 29 – July 8, 2008. Are you someone who wants to return to Israel or always wanted to go, but keeps putting it off? Now is your chance to take advantage of a unique experience to learn, tour, have fun, meet young Jewish professionals from all over and discover Israel in ways you never thought possible! This mission will be led by YLD Board members Josh Hunegs and Royce Zimmerman. A minimum gift of $500 to the Jewish United Fund - Israel Emergency Fund is required to participate. 2008 Annual EventYLD hosted its hugely successful 2008 Annual Event at Carnivale on Saturday, Feb. 23. Two hundred guests enjoyed a fabulous event featuring Latin food, drinks and amazing dance performances. YLD is grateful for the generous sponsorship that US Bank provided for this year’s Annual Event. This sponsorship helped make the evening a tremendous success. We are thrilled to announce that this event raised over $50,000 for the 2008 Jewish United Fund-Israel Emergency Fund Campaign and gifts are still coming in! |
