YLD Annual Meeting: June 19
You are cordially invited to attend the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Young Leadership Division on Tuesday, June 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the Jewish Federation Building in the Lillian and Larry Goodman Conference Center. YLD and Whiskey
Why do Jews drink? What is the role of drinking in Jewish ritual and history? Join YLD at Koval Distillary on Sunday, June 24 to learn the answers to these questions while tasting organic kosher whiskey. The cost to attend is $15 and includes six tastings and snacks.

Summer 2012 LEADS and LEADS Alumni Programs
The Summer LEADS program offers an introductory exploration of the Jewish Community and contemporary issues in a relaxed social setting. The LEADS Alumni Program will provide an opportunity for LEADS Alumni to reunite for meaningful discussions as they continue to build their involvement in the Jewish community. These programs will run simultaneously and will meet on July 17, July 24, July 31, August 7 and August 17, typically at 7:00 pm. Groups will be formed in several areas of the city and separated first by age, then location. A couples group in Lincoln Square will be offered this session, please select the couples tab during registration if you are interested in participating in this group. Following most of the sessions, all groups will meet together at a bar for a happy hour. The cost of the program is $50, which is non-tax deductible. LEADS participants will also be required to make a donation to the 2012 JUF Annual Campaign (minimum suggestion is a $36 gift) and will have the opportunity to do so during the course of the program.
