Cellist Amanda Forsyth was born in South Africa, raised in Canada, and has been continuing to traverse the globe ever since, bringing her music with her. Her partner in these travels is her cello, which has logged even more miles; it had a head start, having been built in 1699. She will be in Chicago on Sunday, May 20 with the Zukerman Trio, for a Pinchas Zukerman weekend at the Music Institute of Chicago.
