Wherever Jeremy Elkins goes, Judaism follows as a central aspect of his life. Whether it is through his professional work partnering with companies to implement new HR and HCM strategies or through his volunteer roles within the Jewish community, Jeremy's primary goal is facilitating kindness through connection. His deep involvement over the years with Anshe Shalom, AIPAC, Chabad, JNF, JUF, Moishe House, Spertus, and Windy City Minyan were ways Jeremy began living his values as a leader in the Chicago Jewish community.
From 2015 and 2019, Jeremy was a board member of JUF's Young Leaders Division (YLD) and received the Leader Among Leaders Award in 2017. Now Jeremy works with young families in the suburbs to increase Jewish engagement through his synagogues, Congregation Beth Shalom (CBS) in Northbrook and Darchei Noam of Glenbook (DNG). Additionally, he is a father to two young daughters who have learned to love Shabbat and giving tzedakah just as much as they enjoy watching Cocomelon with their father.

SOMETHING MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME:
I eat ice cream every night before I go to sleep and I used to throw themed parties in my apartment every 6 months. I threw 9 in total, and some of the themes included R&B, Ed Sullivan Show, and Flamenco. Each had a custom playlist, decor, and attendees dressed per the theme. At these parties, 2 couples met and are now married (2/3 Shidduchs complete). Attendance reached 110 at my last party, circa May 13, 2017.
