More than 40 academics, lawyers, Jewish community leaders, and others committed to free speech on campus gathered on Jan. 25 for a symposium on free speech, campus violence, and event disruption.

Ramkiran Venkat, an Israel intern at the University of Cincinnati, traveled to Israel on a student leadership delegation last year.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and DePaul University will send delegations. 

While anti-Semitic attacks on European Jews persist, recent actions by European governments at all levels signal that the BDS movement is ultimately struggling to meet its objectives.

Nearly every disorientation guide demonizes Israel as an apartheid state, advocates for the BDS movement, and encourages students to become involved with anti-Israel organizations.

In a statement sent to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign students on Sunday night, Chancellor Robert J. Jones expressed concern over the "growing national instances of intolerance, especially on college campuses." 

19 Jewish and non-Jewish student leaders from 15 Midwest campuses convened in Chicago on Sept. 16 and 17 for JUF's Israel Education Center (IEC)'s fall training.
