Meet Katherine (Kat) Childress! Kat joined TOV in April of 2018. She oversees the daily functions of the JUF Uptown Cafe as the volunteer coordinator for TOV. Kat also serves as the admin for the entire TOV department.

Kat's favorite volunteer opportunity we offer in TOV is the Uptown Cafe. "When I volunteer at the cafe, I’m able to see the impact that JUF has on the community firsthand" says Kat. Prior to working for JUF, Kat had experience in the nonprofit realm and giving back. She is proud to say on a daily basis that she's able to help people all over the city. "The smallest kindness you can do for a person can change their entire day for the better. Meeting all of our different volunteers has to be the best part about working in TOV" explains Kat.
