Marissa has been part of the TOV team since 2010. She is responsible for JUF Uptown Cafe, JUF Community Legal Services, disaster relief, and general operations at TOV. Marissa’s favorite TOV program is Good Deeds Day. She loves it so much that in 2018, she brought her then-six-week-old son to participate, jump-starting his tikkun olam journey and making him the youngest TOV volunteer ever! Marissa feels fortunate to partner with an ever-growing list of incredible non-profits throughout Chicagoland in order to make giving back easily accessible for volunteers of all ages. Prior to working at JUF, Marissa earned her MSW from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at UIC. Outside of the office, you can usually find Marissa volunteering with her friends and family, going to concerts (the smaller the venue the better), or spending time with her son!

Sarah has been with TOV since 2019. As the Assistant Director, she is responsible for Good Deeds Day—JUF’s largest day of service—planning projects with the TOV Volunteer Concierge service and assisting other volunteer initiatives. Prior to working at JUF, Sarah was the AmeriCorps Program Director at Asian Human Services and received a degree in Anthropology from Loyola University. As an AmeriCorps alum herself, Sarah found that service offered a tangible way to better the world at large by uplifting individuals at home. She is grateful and motivated to continue sharing the value of kind deeds and providing opportunities for anyone and everyone to give back. Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, being creative, and traveling as much as possible!
Sam has been with TOV since 2019. As TOV's Program Associate, Sam oversees Mitzvah Manias and young adult/young family programming. Prior to working in TOV, Sam was a Development Associate for JUF's Centennial Campaign. Sam fell in love with volunteering at an early age when her parents took her to help serve food at a local homeless shelter and knew she wanted a career in nonprofits after serving as President of her high school's Key Club, a student-led volunteer organization. Her passion led her to pursue a degree in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University. Outside of the office, Sam loves to go to country concerts, bake, and travel home to Florida (especially in the Chicago winter).
Aubree joined TOV in 2020. As TOV’s JUF Uptown Cafe Coordinator, Aubree oversees signing up volunteers for the dining services at the JUF Uptown Cafe. Before working at JUF, Aubree worked as a supervisor at Starbucks while earning her degree in Filmmaking from Columbia College Chicago. Aubree has been connected to a nonprofit in Michigan called Women at Risk Intl, and even collaborated with them to make a video to showcase their Tea Trade Cafe. Aubree is excited to be connecting people to ways they can help in the community. Outside of the office, Aubree loves to spend time with friends and family, watch too much television, and see new parts of the world.
