Esther Sussman is entering her first year on the YLD Board. After graduating with a degree in food science from The University of Wisconsin, Madison she moved back to Chicago to begin her career in the food industry. Esther now works at The Kraft Heinz Company as a senior scientist on the Cost Engineering team. She recently completed her master's degree in food science at The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Since moving to Chicago five years ago Esther has been an active member in YLD and JUF including participating in LEADS, many Big Events, serving on the Back from Birthright Committee and, most recently, participating in Gesher. Esther is also a trustee in the Jewish Women's Foundation and sits on their Education Grants Committee.
