Melissa Gold is a business litigator at Thompson Coburn LLP. Previously, she served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago and worked in-house at McDonald's. Having been named to Oy!Chicago's Jewish 36 Under 36 list, her advocacy extends to the Chicago and Jewish community. She currently serves as a member of the Lincoln Park Zoo Auxiliary Board, Public Interest Law Initiative Young Professional Board, and JUF Young Lawyers Group Committee. Melissa formerly served as a member of the Decalogue Society of Lawyers Board of Managers and University of Illinois College of Law Alumni Board. A native of Buffalo Grove and a Stevenson High School graduate, Melissa is a "Double Illini" earning her B.A. in English and her J.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Melissa serves on YLD's Board alongside her brother, Matt Gold.
