Henry grew up in a family of four in Baltimore, MD where he attended Beth Tfiloh Community School from pre-K through high school. After graduation, Henry took a gap year to travel and teach math across China and Kenya for 9 months before attending the University of Michigan where he served as the Vice President of Michigan Hillel and graduated in 2016 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Social Work. Falling in love with the Midwest, Henry took a job as a Revenue Management Analyst at United Airlines in Chicago in 2016 and has remained at United for the last 5 years, currently as a Principal of International Network Planning. His passion to actively better the communities around him has driven his involvement with several Chicago organizations including YearUp and Tutoring Chicago in addition to being active with YLD. Over the past few years, Henry's involvement with YLD includes serving as a LEADS leader, participating in Gesher, and serving on both the Volunteer and LEADS committees as a non-board member. In his free time, he enjoys cooking for friends, playing golf, and traveling somewhere new.
