Sarah grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a major in Communications and a minor in Jewish Studies. After graduation, she moved to New York City for four years. During that time she worked for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and the Jewish Federations of North America. In 2020, Sarah moved back to Chicago where she worked for JUF in the Professionals Network. Sarah is currently the Chicago Development Director for Friends of United Hatzalah of Israel which is a volunteer-based emergency medical services response organization. Sarah has been an active member of the Chicago Jewish community being involved as a participant in Gesher and the Women's Professionals Network Mentorship Program.
