When you went on a Birthright Israel trip and with which organizer: I went on birthright May 2014 through Shorashim in Chicago.
Why did you decide to go to Israel: It was my third time going to Israel, but it had been 5 years since my last trip. I missed Israel so much - the culture, the food, the people, the sights, and was eager to get back!
Your favorite trip memory/funniest story: My favorite trip memory was Shvil Hasalat - trying the delicious and fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs of Israel!
You are from: I am originally from Deerfield, IL, a northern suburb of Chicago. I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington last May (2014).
Where you are living now: I am currently living in Busan, South Korea.
How you pay the bills: I teach language arts and social studies to fourth and fifth grade English language learners.
Favorite food from Israel: I love all Israeli food, but my favorites would be fresh hummus and fresh fruits and veggies!
Your claim to fame/fun fact: When I was 8 years old I modeled for a Furby catalog - anyone who bought a Furby or Furby product received a catalog in the box with my picture!
