The Back from Birthright Israel Committee is the next step in connecting Birthright Israel returnees with their home community in Chicago. With a great leadership team, we will engage individuals in Jewish life through various events and personal outreach efforts. Our goals are to build connections with engaged alumni, develop events and programs specifically for alumni and foster recognition of JUF as a partner in Birthright Israel trips. The Back from Birthright Israel networks connects Birthright Israel trip alumni living in the Chicagoland area to each other socially, professionally, through Jewish life and culture, volunteerism and philanthropy.
Community powered, we consider the totality of local and global Jewish needs and how to address them. From generation to generation, we help people connect to Jewish life and values, fueling a dynamic, enduring community that comes together for good.
