Offers part-day nursery school for children ages 2-5, as well as parent/tot class on Fridays. In addition, we have a six-week summer camp for children under age 6. Beth Emet has a full calendar of programs for families with young children, such as Shabbat and holiday activities, game night, baby brunch and more. We have a weekly drop-in for children 0-3 with an adult, and tot Shabbat on the third Saturday of every month at 9 a.m., followed by kiddush lunch.

Jewish Enrichment Center

The Jewish Enrichment Center is a laboratory school that raises a child's voice in Jewish learning. Since 2011, we've run an independent Sunday and afterschool in Hyde Park, Chicago, where children are co-creators of Judaism. The Jewish Enrichment Center is recognized nationally as an exceptional model of deep, personalized Jewish children's learning. At the Jewish Enrichment Center, children ask questions, generate ideas, and bring Jewish texts to life for themselves. Using art and drama and clay, children dialogue with peers and with our ancient tradition, simultaneously growing their Jewish literacy as well as skills for critical and creative thinking and compassionate listening. Our environment teaches children to pursue dignity for all humanity. Now open for infant/toddlers through middle school.
