AUDIO: Paul Wieder Interviews Mama Doni

Mama Doni, as her legions of pint-size fans call her, is simply one of the best Jewish children’s musicians ever. Her enthusiasm is contagious, her warmth is genuine, and oh yeah, she can sing real good, too. In real life, she goes by Doni Zasloff Thomas, and she just came back from Nashville, working on her sixth album, and that doesn’t count the one that accompanies her family-friendly Jewish cookbook. Mama Doni is now coming to Chicago, to perform at a pre-Passover PJ Library party, on the morning of Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Highland Park Community House.
