Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC)

What you can do

“When a group of people are sailing in a boat, none of them has a right to bore a hole under his own seat.”

Israel Meir ha-Kohen

Through advocacy and action, JUF’s Government Affairs department and Jewish Community Relations Council are able to impact policy and decision-making as it relates to the Jewish community. JUF develops and maintains working relationships with those key government officials at the city, county, state and federal levels who formulate policy and make decisions affecting people nationwide. Our hope is that you will advocate along with us, and we encourage you to contact your elected officials on issues important to the Jewish Federation and community in Chicago.
