I don’t like roller coasters.

Something happened out there in the wilderness, something that was so powerful as to hold sway over us till today.


Seriously, on this particular date, there’s nothing to consider except getting ready for Passover.

“Everything’s all right now, Mom.” That phrase, word for word, is required in my family for when something has happened, but no one has died. 

I have to look at my phone to remember what day it is. I’m sure I’m not the only one who does this.

Moving, moving, lots of moving going on in my house.

I love routine. As I have said before, I think change is overrated.

I don’t have a favorite song. I don’t have a favorite color. I don’t have a favorite book or movie or song or food or season or toy.

A couple of weeks ago, it seemed like everyone I knew was switching over their closets, including me.

There has been a significant lack of grandfathers in my life, both as a child and for my children.
