Jewish preschools have warm and knowledgeable school leaders, experienced faculty that are trained in the latest research on how to educate and engage young children, and an atmosphere of genuine care and respect.
Families tell us they love the sense of joy and warmth in Jewish preschools. They feel moved as they watch their children spontaneously sing songs about Shabbat or breathe in the scent of the fresh challah they baked and brought home. Years after they graduate, we hear from families about the friendships they made during the years in our programs—friendships that have stood the test of time.
The answer to this question will surely be as unique as your family, and we believe that there is a Jewish preschool that will meet the hopes and dreams you have for your child and family.

Registration typically takes place during November or December for the following school year. But some schools offer rolling admissions. Each school has a different registration process. Be sure to check their website or call for more information.
Good question! There are many choices and our best advice is to go visit the schools and see for yourself. When you talk with the director, tell her/him about your family, try to feel the energy of the school and watch for the quality of relationships you see between teacher and child. Learn about the school with an open heart and trust your instincts. The Preschool Concierge is also available to help you get started with this journey.
Each school has a different pricing structure. Information can either be found on school websites or by calling or visiting. JUF Right Start is our community’s way of saying “welcome!” These gift vouchers for up to $2,000 are available to eligible families sending their infant, toddler or preschool-aged child to a Jewish childhood education program for the first time.
