Overview

We are calling on YOU to help us honor teen leaders and changemakers who live out their Jewish values by working toward Tikkun Olam – making the world a better place.

Nomination Guidelines

  • Nominees should be current 9th-12th graders living in a county served by the JUF (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, Will).
  • Nominees should identify as Jewish
  • Nominees should have participated in, or are currently participating in, a Jewish communal program such as camp, youth group, religious school, volunteer program, educational program, Israel trips, etc.
  • Nominators can be teens, Jewish professionals or community members. Nominations made by teens themselves or by family members will NOT be accepted.

Important Dates

  • Nominations must be received by 5:00pm on Friday, September 30th.
  • Nominated teens must submit their applications by 11:59pm on Monday, October 31st.
  • Selected teens are required to participate in a leadership program on Thursday, December 15th.
  • Honorees will be celebrated at the Community Celebration in the spring, during which Honorees will speak about their Impact Projects.
