JNew to Two (or more!) Group

Thursday, October 6, 2022 10:00 AM - Thursday, November 10, 2022 11:30 AM <Add to Calendar>

Best suited for second, third, or fourth time parents of infants aged 0-9 months

With the arrival of each baby, we become “new” parents all over again, making both literal and figurative space for another infant as we adapt to the changing dynamics of a growing family. The JNew to Two (or More!) Parents Group centers on relevant topics such as infant care, supporting older children as they transition to big siblinghood, meeting the needs of kids at different developmental levels, appreciating each child as an individual, and recalibrating the balance of parenthood, work and relationships within our evolving identities as parents and individuals.

The journey into parenthood is unique and transformative for all families, and we honor the diversity of this powerful human experience. As such, JCC Chicago’s JNew Parents Groups are open to gestational, non-gestational, foster and adoptive caregivers who feel connected to Judaism in some way, shape, or form. We welcome ALL parents, regardless of age, race, gender identity and expression, sexuality, ability, or family composition.
