JUF sends hundreds of college students and young adults to Israel each year with Birthright Israel. Whether you are a college student (18-22), young adult (22-26), or looking to participate in a volunteer trip (18-50), there is an opportunity for you.
Birthright invites you to bring your whole self, along with all of your questions. Through immersive experiences across Israel, participants explore their Jewish identity while discovering the country’s vibrant diversity. Along the way, you will meet people from all walks of life and engage with the cultures, communities, and perspectives that shape modern Israel.

College students who attend university within the state of Illinois or have permanent residence within the state can participate in a 18-22 trip with JUF. If you are curious about the specific opportunities available on your campus, reach out to your Campus Hillel staff. If you are unsure who that would be, email [email protected].
